About The Project
The Waste Audit Tool is an interactive waste management tool designed to be used by anyone and everyone, from householders to businesses and organisations of all sizes to manage their waste.
This tool will provide the user with guidance on how to carry out a waste audit, as well as tailor-made worksheets for the process. There is also a databank management system, for each user, to record their waste audit results.
After entering data from the waste audit, a personalised report is generated, giving the user a report on their waste and a selection of tips on how to reduce, reuse and recycle the waste produced. There will also be additional information supplied to help users along the way with conducting a waste audit.
Why Register?
Everyone, regardless of who they are, or what they do, produces waste. However, not everyone knows exactly how much, or even what type, of waste they produce. And those that DO know, may not know what to do with it, the legislation behind it, or may just want to keep a digital record of it.
